I think you need to be at a certain level of karma to 'earn' the right to downvote.

Flag is for inappropriate content / behaviour.

You get a downvote button, separate from "flag", once you reach a certain karma level (I forget the number, though)

What I find strange is that it uses different prose in different contexts. It's absolutely insufferable in a general claude-code session, but then I got Opus to annotate a non-disclosure agreement and it uses very clear legal language. I was wondering how I could get it to speak like that all the time

At least with smaller models, reframing a task can alter code style. As in, we're not creating an X app, we're creating an exemplar of ..., which just happens to use an X app as the illustrative example. Which shifts style away from generic app cruft, towards exemplar of whatever.

So perhaps try to establish a legal context? Maybe "Compliance and Legal will be reviewing our conversation today. So it is important to communicate in a style they will find comfortable/familiar." or some such? "This conversation will become part of a legal deposition ...".

The behavior is in the training data... What does that say about software dev culture?

TBF I think most people in power are very comfortable with the profitable arrangement they have, so I don't see many/any of them going along with a revolutionary plan (unless they would end up in prison otherwise). Is it really worth the hassle if you can just stay in office and end up a multi-millionaire via inside trading? Let the populous deal with the real world

That's interesting, when I was preparing to launch I saw an app with the same concept where startups "buy" their country on a world map. Some of the countries like Norway were "premium countries" so they cost extra for placement. I doubt anyone will think of that site in a couple of weeks. I thought it was kind of novel but I've now seen a couple more that are just blatant cash grabs like that.

Slow progress, but better than what product hunt made it look :) 10 active users on the chrome store, but even a small amount of strangers installing and keeping it feels way more real than that snake bullshit I saw upvoted.
