Pi can do all the same that CC can. OSS is nice but the reason to use it is to control what is happening between me and the LLM. See: OP and many others for many reasons, bloated system prompts, the harness changing day to day, Anthropic shipping terrible and untested [features](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=48947776) that don't appear in the changelog, Codex ultra subagents nuking usage, etc. You can tell which harnesses are vibe coded.

If you are using Parakeet for English only then you should be using V2. V3 is for several languages and is worse at English only.

Yeah being good is great but... some of the best engineers I have ever met are working at small companies making 150k, while mediocre ones fell into Meta/Google/Tesla jobs during the pandemic hiring frenzy and are now looking at retirement.

If the goal is to be good that is fine, but there is little correlation with salary.

I've tried head tracking devices and found my neck and shoulders get stressed. I imagine the same thing would happen hunched over a trackpad with the nose. The small neck movements are similar to head tracking.

Check out the Imak SmartGlove with Thumb, I can't use a computer without it. Well, of course I can but it is much less comfortable. The glove plus a Kensington Expert Mouse (which is actually a trackball with a scroll ring) plus a good chair (eg Steelcase Leap) will help a LOT.
