This year about 55 solar parks of ~20MW each are supposed to join the network. I think 4 or 5 are operating already. The daily demand is of 3000MW with a deficit of 1500MW, so the whole country never has had electricity at the same time for the last few months.

Is capacity the issue in Cuba, or more the structure to distribute it?

There is no fuel. The power plants are also old and constantly breaking.

Thank you. Its slowly coming online again. In a day or two should be all up.

Dont the many git TUI clients (tig, lazygit, ...) work like that with keybindings?

yes, but I prefer writing status, stash, checkout, commit hand by) So, the more I think about my previous comment the less sense I see in such feature :)

> Your salary is so low even your legacy code feels sorry for you.

> You're the only person on HN who thinks $800/month is a salary and not a cloud computing bill.

ouch

On the bright side. Not many here could 10x their salary in a couple of years.

I guess :)

>You're the only person on HN who thinks $800/month is a salary and not a cloud computing bill.

Now that is funny!

You dont need /*

You can use \cat to prevent alias expansion.

Or 'command cat', which is a little less convenient but will also handle the case where "cat" is a function, not an alias.

(In bash at least. Not sure about newfangled shells!)

Neat! thanks for sharing. Few times I needed that but I had to go hunting down the full path.

I have ‘ccat’ aliases to the original cat binary

That's even better, thank you!

or you can do =cat on zsh

You are correct. That part is never said.

Im in a similar situation than GP. Leaving can be expensive and dangerous, more so if one does not have support on the other side. I have people that directly depend on me (little kids, elderly parents) and not just financially. Some people may say "you can help them better when you are out, send remittances, get them out too" but its just complicated.

Buy a house to get out of this crumbling building (15-30k).

Equip it with solar and a nice home office (maybe 10k tops).

Buy house nearby for parents.

Find struggling friends and help them.

Donate to some FOSS projects.

Where can you buy a house for 30k? :O

(I don't want to assume it from your username)

Yeah, you can assume :)

Try low-paying and unfulfilling. I make $800 a month writing cruds and dealing with awful legacy code.
