> they probably won't be hand-writing code much more

Why is that, can you elaborate a bit?

Also one question about economics of writing such tools using AI - How much it costs you?

PS: It looks great, I want to try it today :)

Well, once the LLMs are better and faster at writing code than the humans, coding by hand becomes a hobby rather than a job..

I guess personally I spend just over 100/month on LLM subs

> coding by hand becomes a hobby rather than a job

Yeah, I guess that will be the future. I'm not sure if its a good thing or not. I hope it will not affect my job position.

Last question, which LLM provider you use and the model?

Mainly claude opus, with some fable for special occasions. And GPT5.6 is also good. But this stuff changes all the time.

> software talibans

I will note that, very funny

Well, this approach is more similar to imposing a dogma thank engineering.

Is managing memory safely important? YES

Is managing memory safely the solution to most of the problems? Absolutely not.

Advocating the language ignoring everything else (having as first and only argument that the code was rewritten in rust fully qualify for this case) is dogma and not engineering.

Yeah I'm using that one.

We have a problem with software religious fundamentalists in our organisation and it's an apt description.

I actually had a lot of problems with software cult followers of influencer gurus like ThePrimeagen, Lex Fridman, Theo, etc... Those are so worst. You can't resonate with them.

Trick is to ignore people who follow the cult.

We went down the earlier Udi Dahan and DDD crap.

what does it mean ?

Pushy fundamentalists, I suppose.

Yes

I fell you, My dream is to build my own compiler for WASM to use it later for my own pet projects. But after 9-5 job I'm exhusted and only able to work for max 1 hour.

But I still have hope that I will make it. Maybe coding agent will help me but I dont like the idea that I need help from AI to build this. I want to create compilers through my own hands.

Anyway, I hope you will make it anyway. :)

Very cool idea, this is exactly what I'm missing from mermaid. Thanks for sharing this!
