Important note on Infomaniak's offering - when they first launched it, I gave it a try but despite claims that it's OpenAI API compatible, even basic things like sending a base64 encoded image were broken. I reached out to their support, who replied with (verbatim): "Unfortunately, we do not provide support for our AI Service, as the solution is highly unmanaged and uses our API."
"highly unmanaged" didn't fill me with confidence, and "uses our API" is a very weird reason to give for not offering support. I wrote off ever using them for anything beyond email after that reply.
It's Pokemon for old people, I love it and use it at least once a day. Personal best for a dog walk - 23 different birds, personal best for sitting in the garden drinking my morning coffee - 17 birds.
My family got a little tired of me using it on holiday in Portugal, but in my defence there were a lot of new birds I needed to add to my collection.

I've been using Seek on my phone, which is part of inatural. Similar thing, but pictures and most life, not just birds. That is totally Pokemon for non-pokemon peeps.. gotta bust out my phone every time I find something I haven't 'caught' yet.
Surprised at how little traction this has gotten here, I reckon I could get a lot of use out of this once the iOS app comes along - Instapaper that I can use while walking the dogs.
