I launched a few weeks back, got already 2000 active users, here's my project: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.macrocodex...

I've a community in bodybuilding space, where I share my work. People have to believe in your work, you can make best product in the world but people won't take any interest in it unless they believe in your abilities, or they hear about your product from someone else who have successfully used it.

This is why don't just spend building best product but get a few users and see if they succeed

Many competiting product couldn't even get their 100 downloads let alone active users who use your product everyday.

Many investment decisions are taken by people who get cut of investment as fees.

Wealthy people don't have time to do all due diligence and vetting specially when random startups become unicorn.

i just don't understand, why it isn't acceptable to use pages.dev

why we must all spend money on domain to show off our projects?

This particular project imply a financial commitment (it's not like you can walk to the data center right now with random assortment of laptops to be setup today without reserving a rack for a month or so), using a free hosting mean they didn't even spend the minimum.

> all spend money

If your 'project' can't allocate $15 for a domain name then you have a bigger problem with your project. Especially if your project involves taking money from customers.

what's bunny? a CDN by Hug Hefner?

I've been using Hetzner and OVH, i used to use GCP and AWS, my bills are now 1/10th of what they were

if you do not use their platform specific features, it's better to run on bare metal with redundancy.

and there are always fool in market.

I used to use sealtbelts for sandbox, i found it consumes way more tokens when sandboxed.

Now, i run YOLO and haven't had any issue and my subscription lasts much longer with less token consumption!

How/why did it consume more tokens?

Well, thing is I ask it doesn't things where sandbox fails.

And then it has to bypass sandbox to run those command with elevated permission.

This double tripe boosts token usage.

I don't think average developer workflow can be really limited to a workspace. You'll need commands which touch your system or require more privilege

I can't remember all of this, does anyone know of any LLM model trained on CLI which can be run locally?

If you copy those commands into a file and use that file to prompt the “sh” LLM.

That works until you need a small variation of any of these commands and you’re lost.

Not a model, but a product: warp.dev

soo basically, they'll replace "coke can" with "redbull" or similar depending on who pays for ads in video? what else they gonna use it for?

Removing film crew, boom mics, and missed props from a scene would surely be useful to studios. It may even enable some shots that previously would have been impossible due to the positioning of cameras, etc.

ultimately we could get 4K remasters of old movies/shows where it's currently not worth redoing the FX

I can see this being one of many AI tools for video editors. Combined with a handful of other tricks an SFX shop should have a tremendously higher productivity.

i worked at companies in US

where uptime monitoring was Page Refresh by QA team.

where there was no centralized logs

postgres had no backup or replication or anything
