TL;DR

* Clients will stay simple, RESP3 is backward compatible with RESP2

* ACLs are mostly an anti-fool protection.

* True multi-threading is impossibly hard to implement, but there will be some ad-hoc workarounds.

* Better persistence will be getting better.

* Existing data structures solve everything, so their number won't be extended.

* Read @antirez twitter to stay tuned.

Go developers have a sectarian mind set. They obey the cult of The Three Creators, and some other minor advocates/evangelists like this australian dude.

Go fanboys won't get it. They are too busy proving their language doesn't need Generics.

No wonder most Go developers come from Python, not C++. Go is a faster Python with concurrency. Go is not suitable for serious projects, but is ok for mediocre devops stuff.

One more advice - implement Generics in your programming language, it's 2019 already, not 1970s!

People who wish that progress would stop on jQuery & Rails - won't like React Hooks either.

What about Flutter? Soon it will be able to run on multi-platform desktops.
