Safari extensions vinegar and sponsorblock. Youtube in safari is a little janky compared to the app, but that’s the best I’ve found.

Vinegar is the best. It replaces hostile video players like the one on YouTube with native HTML5 <video> elements so everything works as expected (like picture-in-picture).

I can’t speak to the Hulu series, but the abc podcast was pretty fact-based and what the show mostly pulls from. I’d at least recommend the podcast.

Raspberry pi imager has an advanced menu that can be accessed with ctrl+shift+X. It allows you to configure a lot of settings to include networking before even installing the OS to the sd card.

I’ve run cups on a pi zero w for a while and it required the occasional restart, took quite a long time to load a job, and the margins were a nightmare to get right. Some of those issues may have had to do with the specific printer/drivers I use. I’ve since moved on.

Heads up: the raspberry pi Imager fits my definition of spyware (it silently transmits your activity off-device without consent or even notification).

Block its phone-home with Little Snitch or LuLu.

I was unaware of the advanced menu, thanks for the heads up. Could have used this last week with my new Pi Zero 2 W

The line mocking VPN implementation hasn’t aged well. That site is a piece of work, from top to bottom.
