Off the top of my head:

* Converting music files dropped into a folder to a format supported by my car (on a USB stick)

* Detecting HDMI connection (connect/disconnect) and switching audio outputs based on this

* Allowing ufw to whitelist by dynamic DNS hosts

* Zero downtime deployments for web projects (written well before Laravel's Envoyer/Forge but with similar functionality)

* Detect backup HDD and prompt for password / auto-mount when connected

While attempting a chargeback can be good advice, be very wary if you paid for the service via Google / Apple.

if paid via Apple, ask Apple directly. I've gotten subscriptions refunded for Match.com's dark patterns, for example.

I personally love Sublimetext for quick editing. Things like multiline selection on single documents.
