If Mozilla had double of the engineer size and money to manintain two engines.

Google could have much more than 750 on their whole chrome team. That’s why all other browser company is doing things on top of webkit/blink/chromium. Browser, layout engine, js engine, the standard, is just that complicated.

All the docs remain open as usual (which they had emphasized), so I will consider a subscription (donation?) to fund the development of the documentation to the open web.

In fact all the docs are on github. You don't even need to get to MDN site to access them. https://github.com/mdn/content/tree/main/files/en-us

China is doing a mass arrestment*1 of 100+ human right lawyers last weekend, in the same times as DDoS start and end, and there's a news from China's official news agent indicate that Telegram is the main secret contacting tool that human right lawyers used.

Some people think it's China who attack Telegram, to avoid the lawyers to warning each other for the arrestment.

Interesting.

We know from this year's GitHub attack that (a) China is willing to DDoS foreign internet services, and (b) China is able to enlist foreign traffic to carry out the actual attack.

So it wouldn't be surprising if China DDoSed Telegram and made it look like the attack came from South Korea.

According to this news, Mozilla's former president Li Gong is poaching his former executive Mozilla branch for more then 30 managers & engineers for his new startup 'Gong Fishing', which is in direct compete with Mozilla on Firefox OS field.

I wondered at the monumental self-centredness of calling the start-up "Gong Fishing", but it appears to be just a typo for "Gone Fishing".

Yeah that's my typo, and it's still an nickname according to last week's CNET http://www.cnet.com/news/firefox-os-in-flux-as-mozilla-loses...
