It's also dangerous. There's going to be people looking up what 1% wealth is. Repeat it enough times and large enough groups will start taking it literally. Just like any social welfare improvements cause disagreement these days in some circles because socialism is bad, and it's halfway to communism, and that's terrible.
You'll probably get nothing of note anyway from class action given the scale of this breach. If you are truly impacted in some way, you'll be better off in small claims (or a full suit if it devastates you enough.)
This whole thing to me is a great example of why the "Facts don't care about feels" crowd is so disingenuous. Supporters of the memo writer talk about how scientific and logical he was being, yet he draws lines that are not supported by science at all. We barely know what things contribute to success of software teams at all, let alone the implications of evopsych biotruths on them. And all this pseudo-scientific reaching is for the grand purpose of saying current employees who came to the company maybe from outreach programs shouldn't have been reached out to. Which, objectively and logically, is a dead-stupid thing to argue in an internal company-wide memo.
Agreed, I'm for the political party that just wants people to vote, regardless of which candidate they're voting for. That truly real party that we all know and love.
That's kind of an ideal party. They organize the vote but don't promote any candidate. Just make sure you are ready to vote, if you are willing to exercise your vote.
Why not just remove all the carbs from your diet and exercise every once in a while instead of monitoring your crap (pork rinds, slim jims, bacon, etc) intake every day :P
I've seen quite a bit of mises institute being posted around here in brief, otherwise insubstantial comments. It's nice to have a single link to follow them up with, so that curious parties can get a view from other perspectives.
Most of those items are appeals to absurdity, lacking any particular rebuttals of the things they ridicule.
I think you will find that claiming something is obviously ridiculous to someone who actually needs convincing is one of the worst approaches possible.
