Whilst the dream for most designers is to start a new project from scratch and have all of the creative licence and control that comes with that, this unfortunately isn’t always the case.
I decided to set out and improve my listening skills. What I learned was that by becoming a better listener, you can improve your productivity, as well as your ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate. What’s more, it helps avoid conflict and misunderstandings. Conversations simply became easier and, above all else, far more enjoyable.
