There should be an option to report posts like this; it is just a cheap way to gather emails for spam..

No spam here... we don't even send a thank you email when you join the site. We're about to be live in a week or so, and are just creating our pre-launch list. If you have no interest, simply don't opt-in for more info :)

when you get 500 karma you'll get a flag button. Meanwhile, you can email the mods at hn@ycombinator.com . You can also email them in egregious cases.

The idea of the ShowHN is that we can try it. It's not very clear what is available after registration, but I'll not volunteer to put my email there.

I think those numbers are not right. To give all Americans 7K, you may need $2T. That is half of the the total budget of the federal government.

I hope that this and FifaGate are just the start of trend. Corruption is destroying many institutions especially developing countries governments. In these countries the law is permeated by the corrupt, so the only way to get justice is with help of the justice system of other countries.
