> I have a lot of experience with long-running Intel SSDs of various models

Hey, could I get your help selecting an Intel SSD model? Overwhelmed by the number of SKUs.

Sure. Can you see the email in my profile?

Which episode?

The Gang Group Dates

They actually use a public macOS API for those Finder icons. It seems like there's no reason at all they needed to do this. It's really shitty.

Even worse!

Fortunately their service is now a commodity (as Jobs told them when they demoed for him, they are simply a feature). I have always preferred Drobox just because it seemed the simplest (and they supported Linux). But switching just takes a short time to copy my files to one of their competitors.

I prepaid for a year's Dropbox service. I wonder how much luck I will have getting a refund on the unused amount.

I wonder why they chose to gratuitously be assholes?

Apple has already done a lot to make this sort of thing nicer. They added lightweight generics to Objective-C, so arrays are typed now. NSError bridges to ErrorType. They've also announced further plans to Swift-ify existing Objective-C APIs.

Could I email/message you and ask you some questions about meditation?

I don't have any answers, but can say I've just started trying meditation after reading about it for years. I was directed towards the headspace app (headspace.com) and have been doing the introductory "take 10" program for a week and love it so far. Would highly recommend checking it out.

* ps, i have no affiliation with headspace

I really like the way Andy (the voice and 'creator' of the app) pronounces 'legs' for some reason. It's almost distracting at times.

Probably off topic but is it an "ASMR" type thing? I only ask because guided meditation audio/video tracks are very popular in that area.

It's not 'pleasant' enough for that, plus I'm not sure this 'ASMR' thing works with voices.

Rather, it's a combination of his accent and the 'meditation voice' thingy that just makes it sound nice to me. His voice is meditative enough to not feel like it interrupts, but "blokeish" (a certain British accent, I guess) and distinct enough that it doesn't feel too high-falutin and triggers my still rather primed anti-everything-new-agey senses.
