HA! It’s like ignoring the student projects on GitHub when a professor encouraged all their students to create GitHub accounts and create repos of their social media analysis assignments.
It’s a static catalog. Where’s the money in that? We need to activate the analysis of the database of widgets, to know our inventory availability. Great, huh? How about we turn that and see who’s online and then maximize our ordering function to the overstock? Great! Rinse, repeat, profit! Everyone and everything is an asset to be tracked and managed in real time through our gated and ungated websites, apps and assets… Shop-A-Tron!
> “Every bank formats their statements differently…”
In my experience with bank data, on the downstream side, banking data is available in the OFX specification, which is a consistent transaction data format. Unfortunately, memo’s do get truncated to different char lengths by different banks, even though the specification allows 255 characters. AMEX, amazingly, switches NAME and MEMO properties. It's a dog breakfast of compliance, but there is a standard.
That’s a strange conclusion to make, because the definition of a “fall guy” is someone who takes the blame, while others, who are more culpable, go free. Whereas most critics would say he’s the “kingpin”, and supporters say he’s “the decider”.
You don’t need a very long awareness of political history to find examples of what government was like before to realize the US is in extraordinary times in terms of loyalty to his leadership and presidency. You don’t need to look long before you find repeat examples—from the Congress, the Supreme Court, and his appointees—of individuals making excuses or previously inconceivable accommodations for the president’s conduct, choices, and decisions to then conclude the president is, as they say, “calling the shots”. That is not the characteristic of a “fall guy”, but a “kingpin”.
Personally, I feel we’re lucky that our “dictator-in-chief” is in the pattern of a real estate developer and not, say, a paranoid military general.
I’m sporting a Life360, MoniMoto and AirTags on my moto. The Life360 seemed to have better range—until it just went offline. The AirTag is still working, though.
So I’m stoked to hear about a new tag with greater range.
