Here's a complete web game a mate and I did for global game jam this year in less than 24 hours from scratch using ClojureScript and core.async targeting pixi.js.

It even has multiple weapons, enemy waves and an end sequence if you complete the game!

The code is not as clean as it could be. For instance it has many more atoms than it needs and lots of code that could be simplified and re-factored. But time was extremely tight and it was a massive rush job.

But even so in the end it came together seamlessly with no weird bugs or crashes of any kinds and it is rock solid. I attribute this to the immutable data structures and pure functions used. I've done games before using mutable OOP and in my experience they never come together this easily or with so few bugs.
