Presumably the .NET announcements were pre-scheduled, so if there is any connection between these posts, it must go the other way. But I don't believe there is. On the contrary, coincidence is almost certainly what we're seeing here, and in that case it is probably only the strength of your feeling about this topic that makes you see it otherwise.
