Except for Lens, most packages shy away from operator soup. The basic set you need to know to read most Haskell code is quite small, and tied to the core concepts you need to know anyway, such as:

    Functor (<$>)
    Applicative (<*>, <*, *>)
    Monad (>>=, =<<, >=>, <=<)
    Monoid (<>)
    Alternative (<|>)
