Not really, the iPhone 5C was sold worldwide up until September 2015 and was sold in India until February 2016 so anyone still using it will be stuck.


The article makes a claim that Apple will drop 32 bit in the OS that Apple has never said. I'm fairly certain that is wrong.

All Apple has said is that it will remove apps from the App store that don't support 64-bit.

Journalists shouldn't make stuff like that up.


Yeah, that changes everything. I’m all for Apple forcing developers to include 64bit support in their builds.


I agree totally, the point is cleaning up app store. Most of those legacy apps are already buggy or consuming too much power
