I don't think so; I got a PDF as well in Opera and Firefox on Ubuntu.

The PDF is encrypted, and we can't convert encrypted PDFs to iPaper. In this case we just allow the original PDF to be downloaded.

It's a scribd.com link that redirects you to a PDF on everythingimportant.org.
