Materials informatics should help with accelerating improved or novel materials discovery (therefore accelerating Gen IV power plants readiness for deployment) but irradiation damage models are complex and probably non generalisable in a bottom-up approach, that is starting from the underlying physical process, up to microstructures and finally to the properties we wish to improve.
