Please don't respond to a bad comment with another bad comment. That only makes this place even worse, and the site guidelines explicitly ask you not to: "Don't feed egregious comments by replying; flag them instead."
Actually, the responses are what does the real damage. If people simply do as that guideline asks, these fires would die out rather than spread.
Also, your comment broke this guideline too: "Please don't sneer, including at the rest of the community." Can you please not? It's its own variety of tedious and nasty.
