Attempt to make printed links clickable (trekhleb.dev)

I thought this was going to be about sticking little NFC tags over real actual printed paper so clicking them opens the link, somehow, on your phone. Still cool.

This is a cool project. Google Lens built into the Android Camera app can also do something similar with analyzing printed text.

It’s pretty rare for printed links to show the protocol. This should be forgiving of text that looks like a link not just https. Basically if you can paste it in the browser bar and go to the url it should support that. I’m sure there is a regex rule for this.

I appreciate the humor ;)

Neat idea. I love that it works in the browser. It would be cool if it worked for phone numbers too.

I guess a better title would be "make clickable links from text in pictures".
