Here's a way to send a giant middle finger to greedy record companies and the overzealous Google algorithms: put just a id+timecode in audio tracks, then make a browser extension that recognizes it, then finds, grabs and plays the real audio track from a p2p decentralized network.

Seems complicated, but actually is perfectly doable.


Maybe they should upload the video in question to vimeo and/or peertube, and not just youtube?
