Does anyone actually do this, or is it just wired being wired?


My understanding so far is that it's a "thing" in Lesswrong/Rationalist circles [1-2], but I'm not sure about outside of that.

It doesn't really sound like that bad of an idea, considering tinder's business model of dicking people around. The only problem is getting a bunch of people to do it


It seems to be popular among mildly autistic tech workers.

I thought about doing it, but never really got to it. Similar to what many in the articles have claimed, online dating is really really HARD. So I came to the same idea on my own. Not surprised at all.


Going oblique - I've seen people do this, but the doc is a tik-tok profile. I know of 3 woman-seeking-woman couples that found each other this way.


I know several people who have done this.
