Let me guess the narrative: communist requirement to control thought meant that only free thinking liberal democracies could come up with generative AI?

Yet we have seen 'guardrails' on the democracy produced ChatGPT such that well known and established historical figures (ironically Mao being one of those) are constrained on how they are outputted from prompts. 'Open and free' isn't reason ChatGPT was made first in America - it was because Altman pushed the button on it, ahead of competitors too wary of the risk
