Very interesting read. If anyone can recommend a similar article with slightly more accessible language for sharing with others, this step-dad (whose step-daughter turns 14 today) would appreciate it. I feel like this particular article may be too dense to share with the other three parents involved in her upbringing.
I also think parents not being involved in their teenage girls lives is also a problem.I knew girls in abusive relationships that did not feel comfortable going to their parents for help.
