I like the general idea of the test. Things I would have liked to see (apart from basic system tweaks like allowing more file handles) are a performance comparison (how much CPU time is spent) and maybe a comparison between operating systems (this might highlight a lot of windows-linux differences, like Windows not committing memory - better have a large swap file to handle stacks of 100k real threads - or windows having a very different scheduler)
