> resistant to API changes

Is there any details about this? I can’t find anything on the about page, or on a quick skim of the readme they have hosted on codeberg.

Nothing is resistant from changes in the upstream data source. It’s pretty easy to break things if you’re dependant like that.

Indeed, I just mean they are not bound to the official API like the apps that sparked the protest.

But Invidious, Nitter and Teddit have all faired well so far.

So are they just skimming content off the HTML responses/using private APIs used by Reddit themselves?

If so, that actually seems less resistant to change, not more.

Nitter uses an "internal" unofficial Twitter API, and it does require active effort to keep up with. But still, that makes it immune to the whims of official API restrictions.

I am not sure what teddit does.
