notch, creator of Minecraft, has announced a new space-themed MMO, with people being able to write code against a 16-bit machine architecture, which will be executed to fly your ship around, even while you're not connected to the game.

This is a c implementation of that machine architecture.

I don't think we have any info on sensors or actuators for the ships though, yet...
