Both Firefox and Chrome increment their version number every six weeks, so it's easy to see that at this rate in a year we will have Chrome 26 and Firefox 20. :)

In an ideal world, we'd get an update every day. Continuous integration, a comprehensive test suite, a few million hackers test for a day, then and out the door. There's always a train leaving the station.
