That’s called contempt before investigation. Lots of assumptions, imagine what else your could be wildly wrong about due to your lack of knowledge, understanding and research.
You do realize people don't keep up with the ballot initiatives in every state on every election. And that there is an overwhelm stream of information to digest?
I was in Ohio just a year ago and it did seem radical, and that was first person observation. So not a huge 'contempt before investigation'. But, to be fair, I was in the countryside, and I did not run my own state wide Gallup Poll.
