If we let the fascists (or those already consumed by the fascists' propaganda) go unchecked, we are acquiescing to their goals.

Even if that person's mind can't be changed, it is still important to visibly call out and resist fascist propaganda.

They want people to give up and think resistance is pointless. That's part of the strategy.
