To the author: have you tried making the board wrap around instead of having an impenetrable border? In my experience it looks better and keeps interesting things happening longer :)
Sounds like it could be fun, I'll try it out and push the change if it works well. Ultimately I would like to add a way to have an 'infinite' field, but this might be easier to implement. Thanks for the feedback.
