Everything multi-platform is the best possible scenario for users. I wouldn't want Linux-only games; I want games to be available on Linux, Windows, OS X, etc. This is not always possible due to time and money constraints, but it's desirable. If that's what "lifted the Linux boat", I'm incredibly happy.
